Ms Moronke Azeez is a distinguished social development specialist with over 30 years of experience in human development and management. Most recently, she was Executive Secretary at the Lagos State Technical and Vocational Education Board (LASTVEB). In this role, she successfully transformed technical and vocational education and training in Lagos State. Prior to this, she served as a Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government from 2007 to 2015. During this time, she played a pivotal role in various education reform initiatives in the State. One of her most notable accomplishments was spearheading the Lagos Eko Secondary Education Project, recognised as one of Africa's best World Bank-funded education projects during her tenure. Moronke Azeez has successfully worked on programmes in the UK and Nigeria across various government and development sectors with a proven track record of implementing programmes that yield results.
Moronke holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics, an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and a fellow of the UK Chartered Management Institute. She is passionate about improving the quality of public service delivery, volunteering, and promoting the welfare of the underprivileged.
