Ms. Titilope Gbemisola Akosa, the Executive Director of the Centre for 21st Century Issues and one of the Alternate Civil Society Observers to the Green Climate Fund, is a dedicated gender advocate, environmentalist, community mobilizer, and defender of vulnerable individuals. She holds a Law degree from Lagos State University and the Nigerian Law School and is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association. Titi has also received training in Sustainable Environmental Management from the University of California and has participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program in the United States. In addition, she pursued a Master's in Law degree at the University of Lagos and completed advanced leadership training programs at the Lagos Business School in Nigeria.
While Titi has worked extensively on governance, health, environment, climate change, renewable energy, poverty alleviation, and women's empowerment at both international and sub-national levels, she is particularly passionate about addressing issues affecting her local community. As a result, she leads and supports various development networks and coalitions within and outside of Nigeria.
